Terms of use
Acceptance
These terms apply when you use the Cluvo website, join the wishlist, or install or use the Cluvo extension. By doing any of those things, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Cluvo.
The service
Cluvo is a Chrome extension that explains a page you have open, in a side panel. It does not change the page's words. A mark is drawn over text that is already there.
Features can change, pause, or stop. We may limit how much the service can be used. Cluvo does not take payment. Nothing on the site is an offer to sell a paid plan.
Wishlist
You may join the wishlist with an email address and, if you want, a short note about what you read. Joining is not a purchase, does not reserve a copy, and does not set a price. We will send one email when the full version is ready, and no other marketing mail. You can remove your address on the delete page.
Accounts
The extension may ask you to sign in with Google. You are responsible for the activity under that sign-in. You can sign out, and you can delete the account, as described in the privacy policy. We do not ask you to create a separate Cluvo password.
Acceptable use
Use Cluvo for your own reading of pages you are allowed to view. Do not use it to break the law, to interfere with or overload the service, to submit someone else's email to the wishlist, or to access another person's account or information.
AI-generated explanations
Explanations are generated from passages of the page you are reading. They are not always based on the full page, and Cluvo does not crawl the rest of a site. An explanation can be wrong, incomplete, or miss the point.
Explanations are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Check the source page before you rely on a reading. You are responsible for how you use an explanation.
Intellectual property
The Cluvo name, the website, the extension, and the text and design we created belong to Cluvo or its licensors. You may not copy them, resell them, or present them as your own. You keep all rights in the pages you choose to read. We do not claim ownership of those pages or of your feedback, though you allow us to use feedback to operate and improve the service.
Third-party content
Pages you open belong to their publishers. Cluvo does not control those pages and is not responsible for them. Google Sign-In is a Google service and is subject to Google's own terms. Links to our privacy policy, terms, or delete page are part of this site.
Disclaimer of warranties
Cluvo is provided as available. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that an explanation will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted, or that the service will be error free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Cluvo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of your use of the service or your reliance on an explanation.
Where a cap is allowed, our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim. If you paid nothing, that cap is zero, except where a mandatory rule says otherwise.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protections still apply.
Termination
You can stop using Cluvo at any time. You can uninstall the extension, sign out, delete your account, and remove a wishlist email. We can refuse a use that breaks these terms, and we can suspend or stop the service.
Stopping use does not by itself delete information we already hold. How to delete that information is described in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Cluvo after an update, the updated terms apply. If you do not agree to them, stop using the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Israel. Disputes are brought in the competent courts of Israel, except where a mandatory consumer rule says otherwise.
